Portfolio Enhancement

Allocating capital to Cahoon improves an investor’s portfolio three ways:

  • Shortened duration. The average duration of loans underwritten by Cahoon Capital is less than one year, reducing risk and enhancing liquidity.
  • Reduced volatility. Cahoon’s portfolio of fixed rate, secured loans generate a more consistent rate of return than well-known equity and bond funds. Investors may elect to receive cash distributions of income monthly or re-invest their earnings to grow the capital balance of their accounts.
  • Increased yield. Cahoon has earned a net rate of return that exceeds the 20-year average of the S and P 500, and other market indexes.
  • Non-correlation to major financial markets. The rate of return earned by Cahoon Capital is not correlated to the performance of stock or bond markets, further dampening the volatility of portfolios.
